The Jay Tag Office will be opened with limited hours (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) until further notice.
All Cherokee Nation Tag Office locations will be closed Monday, January 19th 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will reopen January 20th 2026.
Those persons qualified through the Department of Public Safety as being physically disabled and having a five-year expiration parking permit or whose vehicle has had modifications because of the disability of the owner or of an individual related to the owner within the second degree of consanguinity (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild or sibling by blood) are eligible for a free-reduced rate tag.
Parking permits are obtained through the Department of Public Safety.
