The Excise Tax and Tag Fees will be the same as the State with a 10% discount at the time of purchase. Rules & Fees in this section apply to At-Large citizens in Oklahoma.
For a recent or new purchase, the Citizen will need the properly assigned Title or MSO, Bill of Sale, Lien Release if the title has a lien on it (a very important document that is overlooked at times), Tribal Citizenship card, and Valid Oklahoma insurance verification for that vehicle.
If transferring from Oklahoma to Cherokee Nation, the Citizen will need Oklahoma Title, Lien Release if the title has a lien on it (a very important document that is overlooked at times) – if the lien is not released we can look up lien information then carry this information forward, Tribal Citizenship card, Valid Oklahoma insurance verification for that vehicle.
Proof of residence will not be required for citizens registering "At Large", but must be a resident of Oklahoma.

Cherokee Nation Citizen may register a vehicle in person at one of these seven locations:
